a review of super meat boy:

indie game of the moment. i have just been introduced to a breed of game makers who use flash or adobe air as their medium. like xna, and the xbox live indie games it allows to be created, this medium is good for one or two man developers. the scnario, like super meat boy, is that a programmer of these games which are usually hosted at newgrounds comes in touch with an artist who is familiar with vector graphics. the story of super meat boy is here. cavanagh not only made this fun little one man programmed flash game called don't look back, he also created vvvvvv which i bought for 2.50 on steam during the winter sale. so if you dont have the 5.00 dollars it is now you can get a c64 emulator and play the demade version of vvvvvv. it is worth it! but this post is about dont look back. and you can download that here. if you have 20 minutes you can finish it in one sitting, i did. however you may not be as bright or puzzle inclined as i am. so it may take you longer.
when i am not playing indie games i am still enjoying what little innovation the nhl is throwing at me. so here is my plea, if you have not watched hbo's four part series leading to the winter classic, do that now. it is great. next time join me when i talk about untitled story.
