Of all these weird creatures who lock up their spirits
Drill holes in themselves and live for their secrets

The Appleseed Cast write really pretty songs and are generally pretty underrated. They've been at it for about 12 years and consistently kick ass. They're touring for the last time right now, and I'm not going to be able to go to the NYC show because of a wedding, which sucks pretty hard. To simultaneously mourn my inability to see them play for the last time (luckily i got to see 'em in '99) and celebrate their awesomeness, I made the best-of mix below. Enjoy.

I haven't gotten the new record yet, but I hope to pick it up soon. Really lame of Vagrant to not have an LP version.

I've been listening to Ron and Fez, and I guess I'm a little behind, the Phillies just won the World Series and there isn't a new President yet. Being a Mets fan I'm not celebrating this fact too much, but Ron grew up in PA and his Father is a big Phillies fan, so in a rare, serious moment for Ronny B, he talks a bit about his relationship with his Dad and their connection through baseball, as a heads up it clocks in a little under ten minutes...

On another note, the link above was generously hosted by Sound Cloud. Pretty cool, they let me upload a 150MB file for you to stream and/or download. I dig that.
